Meet our first
reusable launch vehicle

Laguna is a mass manufactured reusable two-stage rocket designed and manufactured by Phantom Space capable of reliable transport of satellites and other space cargo into Earth’s orbit and beyond. Mass manufacturing techniques and reusability allow the Laguna to be the most cost effective constellation launcher.

HEIGHT 20.5 m / 67.3 ft
DIAMETER 2 m / 6.6 ft
MASS 36,342 kg / 80,120 lb
PAYLOAD to LEO 1200 kg / 2646 lb
PAYLOAD to GTO 425 kg / 937 lb
PAYLOAD to Moon 200 kg / 441 lb
PAYLOAD to Mars 100 kg / 220 lb
Payload

The fairing is designed to protect satellites and spacecraft on their way to orbit.
We support a wide variety of payloads from cube sats to ESPA class satellites or any other custom spacecraft.

Height 3.5 m / 11.5 ft
Width 2 m / 6.6 ft
First stage

The first stage utilizes 3 Ripley engines for propelling itself in its first part of the journey to space. The first stage also features aerodynamic control flaps and dynamic hydraulic landing legs, allowing the first stage to land even on rough terrain. The Laguna is powered by liquid oxygen (LOX) and rocket propellant-1 (RP-1).

Height 11.2 m / 36.7 ft
Diameter 2 m / 6.6 ft
Thrust 465 kN / 105,000 lbf
Typical Burn: 190s - 230s
Second stage

Shortly after first stage separation, the second stage ignites and begins the Laguna’s final step in reaching orbit.
The second stage uses a single vacuum optimized Hadley engine, as well as contains the avionics and all necessary computing for travelling to, through, and from space.

Height 2.8 m / 9.2 ft
Diameter 2 m / 6.6 ft
Thrust 26.7 kN / 6000 lbf
Typical Burn: 400s - 440s
Engine

The Ripley engines developed by Ursa Major
are pump-fed ultra-high efficiency 3D printed rocket engines.
The engines use liquid oxygen (LOX) and rocket propellant-1 (RP-1) as fuel.

Propellant LOX / RP-1
Sea Level Thrust: 155.4 kN / 35,000 lbf
